Our services
Biologic Infusions.
Prescribed infusions for inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, with specialist oversight.
What are biologic infusions?
Biologic infusions deliver specialist-prescribed medicines through a vein. These treatments target specific processes involved in inflammatory or autoimmune disease, with the choice of medicine guided by your specialist.
At RapidAccess Medical Infusions, your prescribed treatment is delivered in an outpatient clinic, with nursing support and monitoring throughout your appointment.
When might a biologic infusion be recommended?
A specialist may consider biologic therapy as part of a long-term treatment plan. The appropriate medicine depends on your diagnosis, previous treatments and health checks.
- Inflammatory arthritis, including rheumatoid or psoriatic arthritis.
- Inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.
- Other conditions where your specialist has prescribed an appropriate infusion medicine.
Not every biologic is suitable for every condition or for outpatient administration. Our team reviews the referral and prescribed treatment before confirming an appointment.
